Delicious little balls of fried green plantain filled with crispy pork rinds, an explosion of traditional flavor that combines crunch, saltiness, and homemade goodness. Pure Colombian flavor in every bite!
Preparation instructions:
Air Fryer (quick and crispy option)
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the frozen marranitas on the tray without piling them up.
- Cook for 7 to 9 minutes, turning them over halfway through.
- Remove when they are golden brown on the outside and the filling is hot on the inside.
Oven (for even browning)
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marranitas on a tray lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them over once so they heat evenly.
- Remove when they are crispy and lightly golden.
Important Notes: Keep frozen. Cook or heat. straight from the freezer.
Do not refreeze once thawed.
